I draw and write comics every day, and I try to get in at least four hours of work on the art every day. Currently a few days a week I have to reduce this to two or three hours a day when I am busy with my other work, which is also good but significantly less wonderful compared to this space I am currently constructing. At the end of most of my comic & art posts, I’ve been putting a few sentences of crazy ramblings that are hopefully more amusing than they are disturbing. This morning I decided to sink in a few minutes into writing in this style to see where it goes. The results are indeed strange and I think I will have to animate some of this today, possibly during this morning’s Let’s Draw. Speaking of the Let’s Draw, it will be starting a bit earlier today as there is hiking to be done while the weather is clear.
Here is some of what I wrote this morning and will be drawing in a few, hope to see you all there.

I thought I could use the sword of the bugbear to save the demented princess, but then I remembered that she clawed one of my eyes out the last time we met. I’m not sure why he did it but all I really remember is that she scooped my eyeball out of my skull with her dirty fingernails while screeching something about needing the eye to honor a bet she made with a sentient piece of candy. So, I sold the sword for drug money and met a hyper-intelligent super articulate pooch outside the apotheke. The dog agreed to accompany me on my doomed quest to banish the denizens of the ever-dark and promised he could help me with his mystic incantations. Unfortunately, we have the same interests and level of motivation as we just got super high while playing this fucked up video game where the characters are really alive and you control their fate. “Rogue Legacy is my jam,” I said, but then the dog was like “Hey man, I have a true rogue-like for you. Now, let’s fuck up the life of this poor bastard named Barry the Bulbous.” This made me uneasy but then the dog reassured me by letting me know that we too are in a simulation and that we are simply at the fifth level and Barry is down at the sixth.
