If the puppets became cognizant of puppeteers’ arms up their butts, would they be disturbed by their revelation? I like to think that they would at least be a little surprised like the Count here. Would they view our appendages as parasitic invaders, or would they accept the symbiotic relationship since they lack a skeletal structure of their own? These are the truly important questions people.
In less than an hour, I will be doing the regularly scheduled Monday morning live arting. I will be continuing progress on the friendly fellow that I constructed on Friday, and maybe by the end of the stream, he will have a name. At least today I know the microphone will be working properly, as I still haven’t discerned why it didn’t work on the stream last Friday. I enjoy drawing both by hand and digitally, and both have their time and place so I am determined to fix the audio even if it means acquiring more contraptions. I’m not against such things and tend to accrue them on my own regardless of perceived need at the time. Their ultimate form eventually reveals itself, and the random things I acquire have come in handy in the realms of streaming and social nonsense.
Speaking of, I made the investment into a Steam Deck over the weekend. The appeal of this device to me is not only gaming but that I can use it as an art deck. My primary intent for the device is to work on animations and images on Aseprite, and I’m curious to see what the potential is for streaming things from it on the go. I’ve heard rumors that I can get some of my other art programs running on the thing, but Aseprite is conveniently connected to my Steam so it will be the first.
Enough about the new electronic dwarf god I’ve taken possession of, I will sing praises of it later as I learn more about it. Let’s Draw starting soon on my Twitch, I hope to see you there and more comics & ramblings will be coming your way Wednesday.
