The comic that appeared today is another that I published near the end of 2018. I was heavily stuck on Smash Bros and made several of these, the first of which materialized on Monday. My tolerance for these edible delectables sits in the middle. Fifty and below seems to relax me, which is nice, but things become more interesting if I double that or more. At that point, I become impossibly relaxed, Summer temperatures don’t bother me, and air conditioning and shade become redundant. I’ve not tried it with extreme cold, but I already like the cold, so I’m not sure I’d notice a difference.
Friday will be the next Smash Bros comic instead of the regular art post. I’ll also be shifting the time on Monday & Friday’s Let’s Draws to 11:30, which I guess is 1:30 EST if you’re not born from the mountains. I’ll still be up early on Monday and Friday to stream some Zelda or the like, but running the Let’s Draws later will simplify things for me.
The schedule may be subject to further changes as I’m engaging in the whole chasing money thing again. Eventually, I hope this evolves enough so I can be supported solely by my comics and income from conventions and online sales. For now, there are a few days a week where I can only squeeze in about two or three hours of drawing, compared to my usual minimum of four or five plus. It helps that I’m comfortable with not taking a day off, and that might have to be rephrased to adamantly against taking a day off. It helps that even though creating comics is a lot of work, it’s also an indulgence; if your work is a guilty pleasure, then it never feels like work at all.
